The short version
FMAM collects two things through this website: what you type into a contact form, and anonymous statistics about how the site is used. We do not sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site, we receive what you chose to put in it — typically your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and your message.
Separately, and whether or not you ever fill in a form, we use Google Analytics to measure how the website is used: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, which site or search sent you here, the type of device and browser you used, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. This measures the website, not you — it tells us a page was read, not who read it.
How we use it
What you submit through a form is used to reply to you and to provide the service you asked about. The analytics are used to understand which parts of the site are useful and to improve it. We do not use it to advertise to you.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. The providers who host this website and deliver its messages necessarily handle it on our behalf. Google processes the analytics described above, and never receives what you typed into a form. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits from new ones. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off on every site you visit. Doing either will not affect your ability to use this website or to contact us.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of our dealings with you. Analytics data is kept on a rolling basis by Google and is not tied to your name.
How we protect it
This site is served over an encrypted connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Inquiries are held in systems that require a login, and only the people who need to answer you can reach them. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email booking.fmam@gmail.com and we will act on it. We may keep what we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.
You are never required to fill in a form to use this site. To opt out of analytics entirely, use Google's browser add-on or your browser's own tracking protection — see the cookies section above.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or the GDPR. We will honor a request under either without asking which one applies.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
